Heating and cooling,
planned around the suite.
A vertical terminal heat pump for concealed, ducted installations in apartments, multi-family buildings and hospitality projects.
Vertical equipment.
A complete room solution.
GLACERA VTAC brings heating and cooling into a vertical cabinet installed inside a dedicated closet or enclosure. Project-designed ductwork carries conditioned air to the occupied space.
For new construction and replacement planning, consider the room load and installation space together. Cabinet fit, exterior connections, return air, drainage and service access shape the complete installation.
Small chassis

The elements of suite-level comfort.
A product platform planned around the equipment, the room and the complete installation.
Conceptual arrangement. Installation must follow the selected model’s approved instructions.
Variable-speed inverter
Compressor speed adjusts with the heating or cooling demand instead of relying only on full-output cycling.
R32 heat-pump platform
Heating and cooling are brought together in one vertical terminal equipment family.
Concealed installation
A dedicated closet or enclosure keeps the equipment within the building’s planned interior layout.
Ducted air distribution
Coordinate supply outlets and the return-air path around the suite or guest-room layout.
Two chassis formats
Small and large chassis families support different nominal model classes and enclosure requirements.
Installation coordination
Plan exterior connections, condensate routing, controls and service access with the selected model.
What does variable speed change?
Heating and cooling demand changes throughout the day. A variable-speed inverter changes compressor speed to respond to that demand.
Fixed-speed cycling
A fixed-speed compressor runs at its operating speed, then stops as the thermostat is satisfied.
Variable-speed modulation
An inverter-driven compressor can vary its speed within its operating range, allowing output to follow changing demand.

Plan the components around the chassis.
A complete VTAC installation includes the air path, room-side access, drainage and controls.
Access panel & return air
Coordinate room-side access, return-air openings and routine service.
Wall plenum & exterior grille
Match the exterior air connection to the wall assembly and selected chassis.
Condensate management
Plan the drain pan and condensate route as part of the installation.
Thermostat & controls
Confirm the room control interface and wiring for the selected configuration.
Accessory illustrations are schematic. Confirm dimensions, compatibility and supply scope with GLACERA for each project.
One equipment format. Different project settings.
Coordinate the unit and its enclosure with the room layout, installation access and building requirements.
Hotels & hospitality
Plan heating and cooling around individual guest rooms, room-side controls and service access.
Apartments & multi-family
Consider the suite load, ducted distribution, return-air path and dedicated equipment enclosure together.
